Little Munchkins’ staff members are the heart of our center. Each one helps to bring a loving and caring environment to their classrooms and to the children in their care.
The diverse backgrounds of each of our teachers helps to build a great world for our children. Different religions, teachings, schoolings, and upbringings are present in each classroom and the individual teachings of our teachers.

Kathy G. (28 years)
A Native Austenite, graduating from Lanier High School. I attended what are now, University of North Texas and Texas State University, majoring in Early Childhood Development with a minor in Child Psychology.
I am a single mother with one daughter, Elizabeth, who lives in Cedar Park, two step-daughters, Rebecca, who resides in North Carolina with her family and Kristie who live in Buda. I have grandson, Wyatt Cole and a granddaughter, Paityn Marie. I have numerous adopted children including George who is currently the director of Little Munchkins Learning Center and seven inherited grandchildren who are growing up rather quickly.
I generally enjoy being with children and I love teaching. It is so gratifying to watch their skills and talents grow and develop as they become self-confident, self-sufficient, independent, strong little individuals that God intends them to be!
I have no idea where I will be in 5 years, honestly only God knows that journey. The thing that I know is that I will be where God puts me. I am in His hands.
Kathy has been with Little Munchkins for 28 years and is currently one of our Pre-k teachers as well as Pre-K lead, in charge of the entire Little Munchkins Pre-k program. On top of being in charge of our Pre-K program, Kathy also holds her Director’s License.
